Our Story
At Ohana Home Care Agency, we believe that care is more than a service, it’s family. Inspired by the Hawaiian word ohana, which means family, our agency was built on the promise of providing love, support, and dignity to every person we serve.
Our story began when our founder, Jasmine, stepped in to care for her cousin William, who is on the autism spectrum. After the passing of Jasmine’s aunt, William’s mother, she became his caregiver. Through this journey, Jasmine discovered not only the importance of compassionate, reliable home care, but also the need for services that treat clients like family.
While family trips to Hawaii helped Jasmine understand the meaning of Ohana, her grandmother Daisey’s kindness and strength inspired her most. Her legacy continues to inspire the mission behind Ohana Home Care Agency.
Motivated by love, family, and her personal caregiving journey, Jasmine created Ohana Home Care Agency with one mission: to extend that same patience, compassion, and commitment to others in need, so every client feels cared for like family.
